Let's learn more about them!

When lab diamond is being created it uses a certain method of depositing the material, called Chemical Vapor Deposition. Its a big name, but really they have a cool way of growing diamonds. Scientists start by using a small diamond seed which is then placed into the centre of a furnace. This room is full of gas. Next, they boil the gas at incredibly high temperatures — temperatures so hot that it breaks apart into small pieces known as atoms. This last paragraph ends with a really key bit of information, these are the atoms that actually bind to your diamond seed and eventually make it grow into a bigger diamond! This Rough Diamond can take a while, but at the end, you have a beautiful diamond which looks just like one from the earth.
