Product Description

The CMP disc conditioner we produce is made of single crystal CVD diamond. The burrs of the diamond grids have uniform shapes and controllable angles, with a almost zero degranulation rate. The conditioner can be returned to us for repair after a period of usage, which significantly enhances the conditioning efficiency of the polishing pad for wafers.

Specifications

CMP Single Crystal CVD Diamond Conditioner Produced by Crysdiam Other Ordinary CMP Diamond Conditioner
Made of single crystal CVD diamond plate as a whole, with uniform burrs in consistent shape, providing a more even combing of the polishing pad. Fixing diamond particles by electroplating or soldering with nonuniform particle size, which results in uneven heights of burrs and poor conditioning effect.
Made of single crystal CVD diamond plate as a whole and is specially treated to have a low chance of dropping grains, which greatly reduces the risk of damage to the wafers. Diamond detachment can occur during polishing, damaging the wafers.
After a period of use, it can be returned to us for repair, reducing long-term use costs. Soldering or electroplating processes tend to bring in metallic impurities that contaminate the polishing pad with the abrasive slurry. Metallic impurities will contaminate the wafers, leading to leakage of integrated circuits.
The shape and angle of the burrs can be customised, and the depth of scoring and grooves can be controlled, reducing over-cutting of the polishing pad and extending their service lifespan. The ability to adjust the particle depth and cutting sharpness of the polishing pad are low, which leads to excessive wear of the pad. The polishing pad combing effect is poor, and the service life is shortened.
The exposed surface of the single crystal diamond is a continuous pattern of lattice, smooth and cleavage-free, reducing wafer polishing defects. Unable to control the depth and spacing of the grooves etched in the polishing pad. Low wafer removal rate or uneven polishing.
Single crystal diamond is processed using laser engraving technology to avoid metal contamination of wafers. The use of ceramic-coated CVD polycrystalline diamond has a disorganized lattice orientation that makes it impossible to be reused. Cleavage occurs, which increase the risk of wafer defects and cost.
Available points up to 700 mesh, significantly increase conditioning efficiency.
